Here's ours, we only had Bronx in a couple photos, not all of them:
@.twist.:Thanks! The funny part is that my mother thinks it looks like "a generic, Hallmark card" which cracked me up. Everyone who knows us will instantly know that it's us. Our golden goes eveywhere with us.
Originally, I had a friend taking the shots and she wanted us doing the standard stuff (kiss, embrace, etc.). I had an image in my head of our feet and told her, but she didn't really think it was a good idea. I kept telling her it would be like our version of American Gothic.
So, after work the next day, my FI and I went back out to the one spot in the neighborhood where there's brick sidewalk and a brick wall. I swept most of the cherry blossom petals away and put my camera on a stool. After I took one timed shot, a law student came walking by and offered to take a few. Thankfully, he knew how to shoot with my Nikon and got a bunch of the shots I wanted. :)

We both love dogs and I just HAD to have him in some of our pics.
oops... these are a couple of mine. i was so excited when my photog said he loved dogs and that he wanted to do another appt shoot with our dogs....FOR FREE!!!
I love engagement photos with dogs! FI want to get a dog after we get married. I almost wish we would have borrowed a dog for our engagement shoot. lol
Ohh this is a great Idea! I think I'm going to have us take some pictures with our 2 pups for our save the dates!
Love all these doggie photos!! We aren't doing epics, but our little chihuahua would definitely be in some if we decided to :)

You should most definitely have your dogs in your e-shoot. It was an easy decision for us. They are our world. And the stars of our save-the-date magnets :-)
So awesome!! I did it and have a HUGE canvas of the picture below hanging in my living room, but it is in black and white :)
Those are so cute! I'm kind of hoping we can, but our guys are getting up in years.
I was talking this over with a friend and she said make sure there's at least one person there to help handle the dogs during the shoot. That way there's not a crazy-leash-shuffle the whole time.
Yes, having an extra person there really helped. We had my brother join us at the park where we wanted to shoot the pictures with the dogs. When we were done with them, he took them home and we finished the rest of the shoot with just FI, me and our photographer. It worked out really well!
@beeliever: Thanks! I can't believe our photographer actually got this shot. The dogs were very hyper and excited by all the things going on at the park that day. It was a miracle!
Hi all! those are great photos! we are getting our engagement pics done next week with my dog as well... and my question is.. how did you all get your dogs to behave and sit/lie down so nicely???
My dog is known to be super excited, passionate and friendly... that means.. when he's out.. he must say hi to everyone in sight... so how did you get your dogs prep for the photos and take such good pics?

My fiance and I REALLY want a corgi pup, but we are getting our e-pics next month and we won't be able to get one before then, because neither of our current apartments allow it. Sadness!
@Soon2beMrs.Ka: Make sure he gets a lot of exercise before your shoot. Take him to a dog park (obv. only if he's good with other dogs!) so he tires himself out mentally and physically.

Awww, adorable! We thought about doing this, because we really love our dog, but we would have needed someone to come with us to hang on to him when he should not be in the shots. Our shoot was 3 hours long, I think he would have been bored. He is in the wedding, though, so we will get some pics of him then. I LOVE all the doggy photos! Super cute.

We meet at a dog park. We had both just adopted our dogs not long before. Honestly I can't believe that's how we met because its just such a gosh darn cute "How we met" story. Obviously I want to include our pups in the engagment photos. Do you have any inspirational photos, ideas or sites you can share? I've seen the kneeling on the ground with dogs and leash walking... but I want more than 2 photos with our dogs.
