It definitely seems thicker than it should be. Hopefully it’s the beginning of a BFP though! Can you get an FRER? I think that would give you a more definite answer this early along. Fingers crossed!

Don’t look at tests after the allotted time frame.

Pregnancy tests are only accurate during the alotted amount of time. Usually 5-10 minutes. It’s probably an evap line. It wouldnt hurt to test with a FRER. But I’ve heard the dollar store tests are pretty accurate.

fridaythe13bride:  I used that exact dollar store test. Funny store, came home for lunch from work, took the test, didn’t turn positive in the 5 minute window so I trashed it and had some lunch.

That night I came home and I still had not gotten my period and mine is clockwork – took another one since they are so darn cheap and again didn’t turn, so I figured its a big no. Left the test out with my timer on my phone going and took the trash out. Came back inside and grabbed my phone next to the test and realized the line was there! Came at 7 minutes past! Pulled out the test from lunch in the trash and it was positive as well (must have turned after the window as well)…so I ran out and got a first response (5 times more sensitive) and took that and in 2 minutes it turned positive.

So they do work! Just maybe a few days after your expected period to get it in that window!

That looks like a positive to me!! My preggy test with my first daughter looked exactly like that. I’d put money on it 🙂 CONGRATS!!!!!!!

I’m sorry but after inverting it, I agree that it looks double the thickness that it should be. I think it’s an evap:-/

Oh shoot I totally missed the part where you said 4 hours … I’m so sorry 🙁 In that case I would re-test in a few days. Worst case you just get to have “fun” with your man for longer 🙂
