We HAD to donate them to the church. 
I love the idea of sharing them with other brides if you're sharing the day with other couples, though! We had the earliest ceremony, so we just left them there, and I have no idea how long they were used post-wedding.
If you took them to the reception, where do you think you'd put them?
I was going to put them near the dance floor or by the bar, but I dont know. I know that they dont match the rest of my wedding colors for the reception (my colors are red, white and silver), and I matched them to the church (there is ALOT of pinks in our church), so I may just leave them there.
I know that they would go to better use if we donated them to the church, and I know they would be greatly appreciated. I have to tell the church coordinator by next week, but I am scared that if I say yes now, I might change my mind the day of and won't be able to!

We are donating them to the church and they are going to put them near the Blessed Mother.
I'm not Catholic, but we are donating ours to our church. If they can't use them for services, they will get divided into vases and given by the Pastor and mission crew to members of the congregation they visit the next week.
we HAVE to donate ours to the church, would have probably donated them anyways... theres also a service that will pick them up and deliever them to hospitals or nursing homes but I can't remember the site.....
I think it is always a sweet gesture to donate them to the church. You could also choose to donate them to a local children's hospital or nursing home when you are done with them. I know that the ladies at my grandmother's nursing home always love it when they have fresh flowers around. They'll pick them and take them to their rooms sometimes when no one is watching. Very sweet.

My FH and I were talking yesterday about what to do with the flowers that we have for the church after the wedding.
I ordered two large floral arrangements and we can either take them with us the reception, or donate them to the church for them to use for masses that weekend.
Have you all decided what you are going to do?
