Congratulations on getting them finished!
My DIY invites are still in the planning stages, but I have done my save the dates and those drained me. After printing all the envelopes I realized that nowhere on the card or envelope did it have my FIs last name. At the beginning we discussed how the envelopes should be addressed and thought that would be the best route. We live togther, we have been for 2 years. Putting both of our names on the envelope with the return address made us worry about some of our more old fashioned realtives (like my 92 year old grandfather). The decision we made was, just my name on the return address. Fast forward to last Sunday; his last name is not on the card (my error) and not on the envelope. Which meant that all his relatives would not have a clue as to who was sending the card. I had to reprint more than half of my envelopes to include his name. Hopefully my invites will go off more smoothly.
yeahhh!! show us! :) and a yay! to get them done :)

I finished my DIY invites today. Yay!!! The only thing I decided not to do was envelope liners. I was all about doing them a few weeks ago and now I could care less! I did the invitation, response postcard, a map with directions on the backside. The map/directions were the worst. Half of them are bigger than what I wanted because I didn't get everything lined up correctly when I was printing them and I found a typo. And I just don't care. They are going out as is. Tomorrow, when I'm feeling more motivated, I'll take a picture and post it. I just can't summon the energy tonight.
Anybody else feel drained after finishing your DIY invites?
