Yay for cheap finds!! I hope I can find deals like this when i get to plan!
@chasesgirl: girl, start planning NOW! no joke... buy a little at a time, i just added all that up, it was 70 bucks. things I still need to buy are fishing line (for my garland to hang the paper carnations from) But I am doing EVERYTHING DIY pretty much. I hve enlisted friends to help, but I am glad I have 2 years... I do not know how people plan these things in even a years time with all the DIY stuff going on. I'm doing it out of pride. Not so much necessity. I just hate overpaying for stuff.
ALL my flowers will be paper, includin my bouquet, or perhaps buttons. I am saving all my tin cans to decorate the aisle with. I will poke holes in them and use wire to attach them to chairs and fill with my paper flowers. I will hang thenm from chairs.
I also need more tabelscaping (here is pics of my venue) all the picnic tables are the lame (not wooden) they are the kind that are netted ish and covered in rubber, so I need linens but i'm thinking about going to ross and buying twin sheets and using that, stamping with orange ink down the middle....
anyhow here is my venue. So as you can see it needs color:) My colors are royal blue, powder blue and orange.... I am also renting round tables and chairs to put in front of the stage. I want everyone to be comfortable and have a great time! the reception is a party bus hittin the dive bars we love:) The park will be less than 75 dollars. (i'm doing away with the bounce house that I thought I would get, after pricing caterers LOL) the park only allows beer so I am having 3 types. I will also be serving iced tea, lemonade and probably cola, diet cola, and 7 up. If you have any suggestions, they are certainly welcome... :)

Wow. I am impressed with your ability to plan! Sounds like it is going to be awesome! I definitely lots of color will make it awesome!
Thanks:) this is the original place we married at almost 18 years ago. We are actually having our 20 year Vow renewal here in 2 years... i'm so excited. its that big weird tree that I think i need something babam! ideas?
its in the day, and its so dry here, that i do not think they would allow candles, but i thought about white christmas lights for the "inside ramada" area:)
