Hello Everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself to the Weddingbee site!Glad to finally be signed up, after lurking for a couple years. I’m 25 years old, in the dreaded waiting phase! I have been dating my ABSOLUTE DREAM of a man for 2 years and 2 months, on October 31st. We met on Match and we are in Houston Texas. I know I haven’t been waiting as long as a lot of the Bees on here have, but I just can’t handle the suspense anymore LOL. It’s like everything he does, I think there is something behind it. He has always been very sweet and takes me out often, but I can’t help but to think “Could this be IT?”. Looks like I’m not the only one going bonkers! It’s so sad because my entire wedding is already planned (in my head), all I need is the proposal LOL. But seriously he is the most AMAZING man i’ve ever been with, I’m a very blessed girl. Hopefully, I’ll get to know more of you waiting bees as the time progresses!

@Trilldayz: Welcome Trilldayz!!
I became a wedding bee at 2.5 years into my relationship. It’s not been 3 years 1 month haha. But, I’ve learned a lot and it’s great to have this site because sometimes we are ready before our SO’s are, and unless we want to be naggy, whiney partners, sometimes we need to get it out somewhere—HERE!!
Look forward to chatting with you more in the future

Hi @Trilldayz: Welcome to “the Hive”
The Waiting Phase… the great unknown.
But it need not be… it really should be a stage when a Couple is talking thru / sharing their LIFE PLANS
Have you guys done that yet ?

@Trilldayz: Hi welcome to the WeddingBee. I know this might be an odd question but when people ask you how you met your Love do you just tell them you met on Match? Do they give you odd looks like “oh the internet”? I’m just curious because I met my Love online as well.

@lovelymuse: My SO and I usually tell people we met on Match. At first it felt a little awkward but we soon came to realize that it is extremely common these days. We would tell someone and they would almost always say “Oh, so and so that I know met their husband/wife on line.”

Hi everyone!!! What an amazing welcome!!!!!
Lovely Muse: He is just fine telling people we met online, but I’m not…depending on who asks. Some people get the ” mutual friend” line.
This Time Around: oh my goodness, we talk about life plans almost daily!!!! We’ve already decided where to live, future child rearing, household duties, finances, faith, intimacy, etc! (but im interested in pre marital counseling when that time comes so we can fill in anything that we missed). My parents are divorced, so I want to make sure I do my part in making sure that doesn’t happen to me. But what makes me kinda insecure is that his family is soooooo picture perfect haha. Cant help but feel a bit envious when they don’t really have the type of dysfunction a “broken” home does, you know?? But any who… Off my soap box lol!
I added myself on the wait list, but I’m not sure what number I am now. Last week I noticed he looked up engagement rings on his IPAD! Lets just say I was super excited hahahaha. The wait is very hard, but it will be worth it! Thanks everyone, hope to hear from you soon!

- Wedding: August 2015 - Backyard Forest
@Trilldayz: Welcome! I know what you mean about thinking everything is something!
The other night we were on a hike with our dog and he said he wanted to watch a movie that night (it was a bit of a boy movie) and I was just kind of in my own world walking a few steps ahead, when he shouted “It’s time!!!” my heart literally stopped and I slowly turned around and said, “What?” and he said, “It’s time for us to watch a movie that I want to watch, we never do!”. I swear it took like 10 minutes for my heart to stop racing. I actually thought it was happening. And now I’m extra scared because I am soooo awkward and just from my false alarm reaction I know I’m going to be the most awkward person ever!
I am literally going insane because I know it’s going to happen in the next few months, and at the same time, I feel like it’ll never happen. It’s such a weird feeling waiting when you know it’s coming.
