Thanks! It was fun to make. Who knows if I'll end up using it in the wedding since my idea of what I want changes every minute (picky, much?), but it was fun!!
I love that! I already started a pillow with a big flower on it, but now I am thinking I can somehow add a little birdsnest for the rings on it...

Aw, thanks girls!! I guess I was just worried it's tacky or too busy? I got a little crazy with the colors and flowers, hehe! But now thanks to all of you I am reassured! Yay for bird nests!

Very cute! I'm not crafty so I think I'm just sticking to the standard ring pillow.
Very cute! I have a whole bird theme going as well. I am making table numbers out of a section of tree trunk (cut into a thin disk) with a wooden number posted on it, some moss, and a few artificial birds on them. They are so cute!
hm...I bought a bird's nest around Christmas, to mark my daughter's flying the coop to Canada rather unexpectedly...maybe it would be fun to attach ribbons and put the rings there!! we will have a ring warming, where rings are passed amongst the guests during the ceremony, each has a moment to pass good wishes/prayers...(hope bf agrees!)!

So I felt inspired by all of you crafty chicas - and I decided to try my hand at a ring bearer's bird nest!! This photo is the almost finished product - after I took the photo I edited down a little bit and took out a few flowers to make it less busy. I'm pretty satisfied but more importantly I had a great time making it! Now, the DIY bug may have bit me!!
