We kicked it into high gear when I had the PIH scare a couple of weeks ago. I'm so grateful that happened or I'd probably still be procrastinating!
You are absolutely right. When I realized that I only had 8 weeks left or as little as 5 weeks, I thought I really need to get a move on getting my hospital bag together.
Can you believe how fast time is flying?
I know! In the beginning it seemed to move sooo slowly, and now it is flying!
I've got the nursery set up but I still haven't got the hospital bag packed or toured the hospital or given them my registration packet or anything! I should really get that all done!
Yes, time is definitely flying now that it's 6 weeks away. My husband and I just bought the crib; we just have to find time to set it up now. I haven't even packed the hospital bag yet or washed anything. Little by little, we're getting everything we need though. Hopefully, I'll get it all done by next week.
We have the crib and dresser set up and I have washed all her clothes. Little by little, I am putting together my hospital bag. Speaking of, I need to find that post that I believe you, Mighty, put together for the hospital bag contents. So we all we are doing now is decorating the nursery.
@Mighty - our tour isn't until June 7 and our BFing class isn't until May 26. I am hoping our DD holds off until after I am done with my classes and such.
The one thing we don't have yet is our glider. It was a special order and wouldn't arrive for 8 - 12 weeks (12 weeks being our due date week). I am really looking forward to sitting in it.

I have a BFing 101 class next Thursday but I had considered skipping it. Is there really more to BFing than just getting the baby to suckle??

I questioned that too but thought it may be useful. At my hospital, it is a 2 hour class. I am hoping I learn more than just the holding techniques. Who knows...

A good friend of mine just had her baby - 4 weeks early!! Everyone is great and healthy and I don't think she had any warning - was on her way to the gym and went into labor!
