I would go ahead and call. Just be calm and say that you were told to expect the dresses in the last week of June and just wanted to check on them and get a status update. Do not hang up until they give you a date or tracking number or something.

If it makes you feel any better, my bridal salon thinks I’m a bridezilla and I think I’m only “allowed” to deal with the manager now because they were lying to brides and I called them out on it.

I don’t think it’s being a bridezilla to call. I called about mine a couple times and they just patiently checked for me. Unfortunately they don’t always have the most up to date information as they are not usually the ones making/shipping the dress.

Also, with only 7 weeks you need to be thinking about alterations for the BMs. Definitely call- hopefully they are in and they just forgot to call 🙂

yeah I would definitely call again. Usually when you shop for bridesmaids they tell you 3 to 4 months for dresses to come in. My sisters wedding is in August and her shop told her that the dresses needed to be ordered in February in order to allow for them to come in and time for alterations

@Imean:  Boo. Glad they’re shipped, though. It’ll be fine. I shipped two of the four dresses out priority mail and they got them in a couple of days. One of my BMs swore she wouldn’t lose weight, but ended up doing so anyway (not her fault, it was from stress), but she already needed alterations.

That’s great they shipped! And don’t worry to much they still have plenty of time for alterations.  We had our dresses for a while but the girls haven’t had their alterations done yet.

Well, there’s nothing you can do about it right now. They’re in transit. Did you get a shipping number from the store? That’s the first step.

Depending on where your girls are, it shouldn’t take more than a few days for them to get their dresses. Alterations on a BM dress don’t take that long. You’re fine.

@Imean: OMG. I am in the same. exact. situation!!!! Except the store I’m dealing with isn’t so nice or apologetic. Plus, when we ordered the stupid dresses, they charged us a $25 shioping fee for the manufacturer to ship them to the store. I’ve never heard of this. The two times I’ve called the manager tells me he’ll call me on a certain day with an update and theN never does. Apparantly one of my out-of-state bridesmaids called to ask about the dress, and the the manager was super rude to her. So I totally feel your pain. I’m starting to get really pissed. We ordered these things the first week of march!!
