@ellabee: where are you going?? I feel your pain! We originally wanted to go to the Greek islands but it just seemed like so much work so we booked an all inclusive in Mexico so all we needed to do is pay and show up with our bathing suits!

@ellabee: Girl, do i HEAR ya.  I have meltdowns all the time.  FI and I are taking
“crazy” to the next level: planning a wedding AND buying a house.  I tell ya, I’m so stressed I feel like I’ve cried more in the last year than my whole life combined! 🙂

@kingytobe: Gosh, I know.  FI and I have taken it to new levels by buying a brand new house.  We’re in design meetings from time to time, picking out cabinets, countertops, etc etc…Life is insane! But it’s our life, and we’re loving it!

If you need some help, I’m here. Seriously, Tripadvisor has become my best friend (and biggest enemy.)  FI wanted to book thru a travel agent, but I NEED to get the best value for my money. I booked flights and 2 out of 4 hotels this week, sent an email to #3 and am still in debate if I’m going to go with the last one (or obsess over it some more.)

I can understand!  We just recently got into planning ours, and I already don’t want to deal with it anymore.  I have to ask my boss for extra time off, everything costs way more than I anticipated, and I don’t fly well so the thought of flying out to California makes me vomit.  I’m SOOOOO over it already, and I feel like it so shouldn’t be like that haha!

I’ll help if you want! Seriously my favorite thing to do EVER is plan vacations!! I plan our vacations 8 months in advance all the time, lol

Im sorry its been stressful and tiring. I agree with a PP, tripadvisor makes decisions a lot easier.

I’m in the same boat, with roles reversed.  I thought the honeymoon was planned when we booked all of the flights and hotels.  My FI on the other hand, doesn’t think the honeymoon is planned until we have every hour of the day coordinated.

After a year of wedding planning, deployment, and now house hunting, all I really want out of a honeymoon is to lay in bed with Italian wine looking out at a great view and sightseeing whenever I feel like it and not when his itinerary dictates it so!!
