Totally believe you - what a great perk! This is why I don't FB . . . *le sigh* . . . it makes me tick (like meds wearing off kinda *tick*).
Is JessAlb really super tiny irl?
I'd probably get sarcastic/passive agressive and post back something like: you're right I didn't, good thing you called me on it!
That annoys me too...lol I can't relate to seeing celebs but I do hate it when you post something and someone hops on with something negative!
@MissCosmopolitan: Yes, yes she is. And she's super pretty irl too! (Not like Pam Anderson...that girl NEEDS the airbrusing...)
When one person does something like that often enough, I just use the "remove from friends" option. If it's someone to whom I'm really close, they wouldn't pull crap like that. And for everyone else, I don't think the world will end should I remove someone from my FB "friends" list.
@redherring: It's usually DH's family. So I feel like I'd be stirring drama if I removed them...
@7mom: Yep, eating the hater-tots and washing it down with haterade!
@egb: lol!
@7: Word - and, ditto!
@ mighty: Darnit! That means they really are real and not just c-g holograms. There goes that theory! :P
@MissCosmopolitan: I die a little inside everytime I meet or see a celeb in real life who obviously has never been airbrushed or required much makeup. It's like I'm a different species! These women (and men!) are GORGE.
I'm told that Ashley Judd is one of those. I read it in an article once so now every time someone even mentions celebrities without makeup I wonder if it's true about her.
I have this insane urge to yell "Pics or it didn't happen!" and run, but I'll contain myself. I do believe you, and would just be doing it to irk ya.
Tell me more about the ones who have clearly required airbrushing. They make me feel better!
@encore: Oooh - I agree! I don't want to trash anyone, I just want to know if some of them need a little help. :)
The only ones that come to mind are (not surprisingly?) the Baywatch celebs. Pam Anderson: her eyes have huge baggy black circles and her skin is sooooo eathery. Also David Hasselhoff looks nasty in person. He's starting to get ooold. (Although his skin is slightly less leathery than Pam Andersons!)
I hear ya... We live in NYC so every once in a while FI and I have a celeb spotting.... I'm not going to whip out my phone and take a pic though... there's just something weird about that. Why would I make that up??
@MightySapphire: Ummm....Edward James Olmos??? Nerdy squeal!
Plus....if you were lying, I really don't see you lying about him, lol. You would think they could figure that much out :).
@MightySapphire: "Yep, eating the hater-tots and washing it down with haterade!"
hahaha I needed a laugh.

Don't you hate it when you post something on Facebook, or tell someone something, and their only reply is "No you didn't."
Why the heck would I tell people if it didn't happen??
Case in point: We live in an area inundated by famous people. I can't help that. I regularly see famous people at Starbucks, Ralph's, or the Rock Store. So when I post to Facebook "OMG, just saw Jessica Alba at Starbucks!" I kinda expect people to believe me without prodding for proof, like an autograph or a photo. I have Tracfone, so no camera phone, and I despise the concept of autographs. Why do I need to prove it? Can't people just say "That's cool."
PS-Met Edward James Olmos today. Believe me?
