When ppl complain that you are not including them in the wedding planning and then ignore your emails when you do try to include them.
My best friends says “You were the first person I told about anything when I was planning, I have been feeling left out” then ignores my emails.

Annoying. I know what you mean. My cousin made a HUGE deal about not being more included in my wedding planning but when I called to invite her to come bridal shopping with me the past 5 times, she’s been “busy”.

I haven’t gotten that but I have the “oh my god we need to hang out asap” and then never return any of your “let’s make plans” texts/emails friends.

My mom told me to go “Pre-wedding dress shopping” Without her then she would come when i narrowed down my choices then was mad at me when i went without her… So yes i understand…

I haven’t had this happen yet, but I have had friends all of a sudden come out of the woodwork. Like people I haven’t talked to since high school (I graduated 7 years ago) saying “Hey! I see you are getting married, you better invite me!” Um no, you haven’t bothered with me in years why would I invite you to my wedding? Grrrr. The nerve of some people.

This happend has soon as I got engaged. People were quite upset that I hadnt selected my bridal party yet. I am slow to include anyone in anything. Some of the stuff I read on these boards is quite scary when dealing with non-family.

Yeah. I had several several people that said they’d be there for me, but now that I actually need people, they are nowhere to be found.
@SoonToBeeMrsD: I had this happen to me today. I’ve been engaged for 7 months. It’s been “Facebook official” for about 4 months. I got a message from a girl I went to high school with who told me that she’d better be invited. I graduated from high school 3 years ago, I haven’t talked to her much since then. The only time she ever talked to me was when she needed something, like a ride.
