lol….last night there our doorbell rang at 11:30 at night and  FI was in bed….we’re dogsitting my FFIL’s dog as well…so my rottweiler x dobermann and the english retriever went NUTS….i think they sensed me being nervous….

FI called down to me and I said i was NOT  answering the door….so he had to come down…..it was a pizza delivery to the wrong complex…..

I was surprised he stayed at the door with all the dog barking…(they have deep barks and SOUND viscious..not that they are…they would liekly lick him to death)

Our boxer will growl at any little thing that moves outside, so there will be times when I don’t hear a thing and she’ll suddenly start growling, staring at the door.  It’s so damn freaky!  I swear she’s growling at the moths playing in the porchlight… but it still creeps me out.

I get so spooked when my dog turns directly to a corner of the room and barks at nothing.

Uhh…Molly…what exactly are you seeing that I can’t??

DH just knocked on the wall, and the dogs went nutssand ran up to the back door barking. They also run to the back door when someone rings the doorbell, even though thats only at the front. In other words, I don’t think them barking would freak me out too much, because they are pretty crappy guard dogs.

However, as much as I love my alone time, and I hate to admit this, but I do get freaked out when DH is gone overnight. I used to live by myself and loved it. What happened to me??
