Weddingbee boards

We are getting married at the Landmark Resort in Door County in September, and the reception is being held on the Harbor Lady cruise boat.  Now, I'm working on the rehearsal dinner details and I'm having a really tough time!  Everyone is from out of town, including us.  So, I'm treating it like a destination wedding.  We will have about 150 in attendance.

Who do I have to invite to the rehearsal dinner?  I thought about having only our immediate families and the wedding party with spouses for dinner (35 people total).  Then, meeting for a wine tasting afterward or even go-carting or something fun for everyone else invited to the wedding.  Here is the real dilemma, there are kids coming to the wedding, but I hired babysitters for all of them during the reception on the boat.  So, I feel like I need to include the kids in something the night before.  My budget does not allow for us to feed everyone two nights in a row.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this?
