What about the veil on its own for the ceremony and the headband for the reception? Amazing piece by the way!
I think you could place the veil further back on your head. That is what I plan on doing with my headband! I am planning to place it about here:

you don't have to put the veil in the same place as the headband. i think you should go ahead and wear them both, and put the veil wherever works best.
I LOVE Twigs and Honey on etsy, such beautiful vintage items (especially that headband)!Do you know how you're having your hair? Up or down? I've seen lots of updo's which feature a veil quite far back with a headband at the front and it looks great, so I definitely think it's possible and that it will look beautiful. If you're worried that it's too much together, wear minimal jewellery. I'm planning on wearing a tiara and veil so probably won't wear much else accessory wise :)
What about wearing the veil over the headband (loose, but layered over your head) and then just removing it for the reception?
Hi Mile, im thinking on ordering this beautiful piece too! i fell in love with it from the moment i saw it. I would absolutely wear a veil, not too heavy, something like look 2. Are you having it gold or silver??

I saw this headband from Twigs and Honey on Etsy a few weeks ago. I love the look of a bit of sparkle sitting forward on the top of the head, without a lot of height (most tiaras are too beauty-pageant-esque for me) but I am also wearing a plain veil with a blusher. Could a veil be attached to the back of this type of headband, or will it be just too much look? The veil is simple, and traditional.
