i don't have this dress but i'm a huge maggie fan and just refreshed my memory but looking at the michelle, LOVE IT!! i'm sure its looks amazing on you, i think it would complement any shape, and the top is so gorgeous it doesnt need much else i dont think. do you have a pic of yourself in it?
I just tried on the Adelaide this weekend and it is very similar to the Michelle. I think I am not going to wear a slip with it because it makes it less poofy at the bottom. Maybe not wearing a slip would help you as well?
I will hopefully be getting pictures of myself in Adelaide to post soon (they are on my moms camera).
Also the people at the shop recommended that since the Adelaide (and Michelle) has so much beading/glitz at the top that a necklace probably would be too much. I am going to look into finding some drop earings to wear.

Hi ladies. So I ordered the Michele (from 2006!) from RK Bridal in NYC in August -- due in late December (wedding is June 12, 2010), and some days I love it, some days I think it's just too plain, especially on the bottom. The tight beading on the bust/bodice glistens gloriously and makes my hair, eyes, skin gleam. All good. But then the dress kind of falls off into a satin A-line. There are so many more glam dresses on this site -- I'm almost 5'5" and carry myself well, but these others seemed like so much dress for me. oh, and I wear at least 3" heels just fine. So I ended up with the Michele. It would help LOTS if any of you brides-to-be or brides-that-already-were could post some pix of yourselves in this dress. I thank you so much for your help. This board has already been amazingly helpful. the Knot too!
