My biggest problem is who walks with my Mother? I’m sure there’s an easy answer to this…
Our church has narrow aisles and no center aisle, so we’re walking up one aisle and leaving down the other aisle (and ringing the church bells on the way out!) Ideally I would walk with both my parents, which is what my sister did, but I just don’t think the aisles are wide enough to allow this. I will walk with my Dad, but should I pull someone from the wedding party (i.e. my brother) to walk with my Mom? Should my FI escort my Mom? If we have the wedding party walk in singles (instead of pairs) then it probably wouldn’t be a big deal to pull my brother to walk with my Mom… but what does everyone else do??

I think it’s a bit different for everyone. Our plan is to have my 12 year old nephew walk my Mom down, but at other weddings, I’ve seen ushers or groomsmen do it. At one, I saw the Mom walk down by herself. Just depends 🙂

We had the usher escort my step mom, his dad took his mom and grandma in seperate trips, and that was it lol.

There is no set standard anymore for who walks who; you can have it done any way you feel comfortable.
I think your idea of your FH walking your mom is an awesome one.
My mom passed away 11 years ago, and if she was here, that is what I would do.

My older brother will walk my mom down. He is also an usher, so I guess I hit two of the suggestions at once!
