I need your help bees! I’ve finally managed to go to every possible salon I could dream of and try on all my dream dresses. Now I need to choose this weekend which I prefer! I’ve narrowed it down to 2 but can’t decide from there lol I’m a big girl so i was surprised to even get into most dresses let alone fall in love with more than one!
first is the Monique Lhuillier Candy which is modern sleek and has that “wow factor” It’s also super light and airy.
And the second one is the Matthew Alexander Chloe. It’s what I always seen myself in and the fabric was incredible! it’s really comfortable and fun. the salon wouldn’t allow pictures so unfortunately I can’t see myself in it:( but I would do a dainty crystal sash instead of the big black on (oh and it has POCKETS!)

There is something strange going on in the front of the ML. My vote is for #2

It’s hard to choose without seeing you in both dresses but I agree with the PP, there is something weird on the front of dress #1. Looks like a flap…Dress #2 is beautiful though!

I think the second dress would be really flattering!

the second dress is stunning. too bad you don’t have pics of you in it. how did you feel in it when you tried it on?

@dv3849: is it maybe your undergarments giving you that weird sort of flap this in the front of your dress? If it wasn’t for that I would totally say the first dress – it’s flattering everywhere but right there!

I LOVE the Candy- I know it’s not the popular choice so far, but I think that flap is probably due to the sample not being the right size, no?

I vote for 2….Something about 1 just isn’t flattering.

Without seeing you in #2, I think it would be better on you.
It looks like it has more structure to it than #1. As a fellow plus-sized gal, I have to say that structure is my friend, so it probably is yours too.
FWIW, I think the second dress is equally as modern, it its own way. Perhaps “classic modern” would be a better decription.

#1 isnt particularly flattering but maybe it is a bad pic. I voted for #2

I agree with PPs, #2 would be more flattering.

I like #1 a lot, and I figure the sample is just not in your size, hence whatever is going on in front.

The flap is just the dress not fitting lol I’m a size 14-16 and the sample was an 8 lol I’m assuming in my size it might look better
