    • cinnamon sugar pita chips
    • ice cream.  oh, ice cream.  I have too much of you, too often.
    • Chocolate.  I never buy this for myself, but there is usually a big bowl at work and I stop by every time I get up to pick something off the printer….Yikes.  I eat a lot more than I think.

ahh, I just googled Pretzel Flips to see what they are! My downfall is definitely finger food – fried, salty, stuff.  I try not to be too starving when going out to eat and I might order something I’ll regret later, but if we get stuff for a group or I am at a function with passed foods, I am powerless against the yumminess of it all.

And I LOVE buffalo chicken fingers.  Too delish.

I bought "Snack size" snickers because I thought having a little one was better than having a big one.  But then I’ll eat two.  Or three.

I should just not buy them

I’m also a huge sucker for tortilla chips and salsa.  They don’t even sell tortilla chips in Colombia (seriously) but I found a bag at the commissary and well…my diet is in shambles!!

I try to counter office food (which some very nice people send on a regular basis) with a bag full of fresh veggies I can snack on.  I always bring a bag of carrots, string cheese, snap peas, cabbage slices, etc. with me so that if I want to mindlessly snack I don’t feel guilty about it!!

I didn’t see SODA listed???  I always drink water before a soda, so if I buy a can of soda, I have to drink 12oz of water before I can open and drink it.  I’m usually full by then, so I don’t end up drinking the soda.  And I always buy a Coke Zero, no regular soda for me!

Candy of any kind, movie theatre popcorn (lots of butter), and ice cream. But I also just eat way too much when we go out, in general. I always go in to a restaurant thinking "salad" but end up ordering a burger or chicken wings or something. And I always become a member of the ‘clean plate club’, even if i’m stuffed (the man is helping me with this, he reminds me to quit eating when i’m no longer hungry).

My Wii Fit even crabbed at me yesterday about gaining weight, making me choose the reason i thought I’d gained (snacking – but technically IT made the error – I was 153 one day, 146 the next, and 149 the next (I think the 146 was a fluke)). Then it lectured me about snacking. It’s so mean to me.

@Marquisemiss: Oh, your comment made me need a Wii fit so bad!  I can’t imagine how motivating it would be to have a video game crack at my lack of weight loss!

    Salty Salty Saaaalty!

You could put a huge moist chocolate cake in front of me and I’d walk on by … open a bag of chips or a box of cheeze-its and it’s gone in an hour!

I just don’t keep it in the house. I just can’t say NO!  So I just avoid avoid avoid. It doesn’t always work, but I try!
