No it will be fine.  It would look terrible if you had a crisp white sash against your champagne dress.

You’re over thinking it and I promise you that it will not look stupid and that your guests won’t even notice 🙂

Beautiful dress by the way

@emviamama:  It will look fine. Men look best in a  white shirt for formal wear, and the shirt will not be next to your dress anyhow.

We’re dress twins!!!! I bought the dress back in May when it first came out!!! LOVE it!!! The men will be in ivory shirts since I don’t love how champagne dresses and white shirts photograph together :-)!!! Would it be possible to have them in ivory shirts?

Is it too late to get the guy’s shirts in an ivory or champagne.  It’s not that uncomon, and where we ordered ours from allowed us to get ivory shirts to match my ivory dress.

@Miss Circe:  +1

No one will notice or care, they’re only going to notice how gorgeous you look in that dress!

Hmmm I’m planning to have my FI and groomsmen in white shirts as well…I don’t think it’s a big deal though, and mine is WAY more champagne than yours!

@emviamama:  If it’s any consolation, I’m guilty of doing the same. There’s just something about wedding planning that makes people question everything Smile
