Try double spacing it!

Not sure if you are using the most recent Word but Try paragragh spacking before and after as well.

i find that those pro fonts only really work well in adobe indesign or adobe illustrator.  they get cut off in word.

It may just be Word. Most professional fonts tend to be created in Illustrator and meant for those who use Illustrator / Photoshop. Unless you have these high end programmes then there’s nothing that can be done but choose a different font…or find a friend who has it.

Sometimes if you play around with the before/after spacing (so Format:Paragraph and then “Before” and “After” spacing) this makes the pro fonts work in Word. I know that they work best in Adobe and those kinds of programs, but you can totally make them work in Word. I bought a font from Myfonts and emailed them about this issue and after getting this tip from them, I was able to use the font in Word. I’m sure your brother will be able to do awesome things with it in his professional programs for your invite, but just a tip in case you wanted to play around with it yourself in Word.

I ended up doing our invites in power point to solve some of these issues…it worked waaay better than word for some reason.
