Thanks! We're having our reception on top of a mountain (where he proposed!) so I really want to incorporate the mountain element to it - while still keeping it formal rather than rustic :)
I love how you made the photo pink. It's looks super elegant! What a neat idea to incorporate into your table numbers! I love it! P.S. You are on the ball!!! You aren't getting married for another year and look how far you are! Props to you! I have three months and haven't started on table numbers yet!!
Hehe - I'm not TOO on the ball, just excited about some of the details. I know that I"m going to get REALLY busy with school/work in the future, so I know my only chance of "DIY"-ing is doing it super super early!
Wow, great job! I also love how the photo is pink. Great job!
Thanks guys - I think I shall keep it as is for now then!
Now we just need to go hiking a few more times this summer, since on a few of the peaks we only have individual pictures of us!
These look awesome! How did you get the picture to fade into the whole document? What are you using - Publisher, Illustrator, etc?
We're actually doing the same thing (We're also getting married in the mountains, as a formal affair, not rustic), but I'm not using table #'s, but rather the names of the mountains we've hiked with the pictures. Why use numbers when you can use the names! :)
That's awesome Mrs Franks - we'll have to balance some ideas off of each other! I contemplated doing JUST names with no numbers, but I was slightly concerned that people would have more difficulty finding their table then if they were numerically arranged. My wedding isn't going to be too big though, so may that is a silly fear!!
I'm still considering making the mountain name a bit bigger though - so its almost as if each table has a name AND number hehe. Good luck with your wedding!
Looks gorgeous. I love how you're doing something unique to you as a couple.

While I'm waiting for some paper samples I ordered to show up, I decided to play around with some designs for my table numbers (the same style will be reflected through invitations, save the dates, name cards, menus, etc...). The exact shades of the colours haven't been finalized yet - and the outer two colours (lt pink/black) will be paper that the print is mounted on. Each table will have a different mountain that my FI and I have climbed on it!
Any opinions or ideas? I wasn't sure if I should leave the colour in photo (the photos all have beautiful colours in them!) or make it match the pink background (I think this looks more formal/elegant - and it will help the fact that we're all gross looking from climbing a mountain hehe!). I also wasn't sure if I should make the name of the mountain "the lions" larger - almost like each table is named after a mountain (vs. just having a number)?
