After a bit of input from some helpful bees, I’ve drafted our invite suite…
Invite, Option 1, includes a reception card:
Invite, Option 2 – includes the reception information on the invite:
RSVP, Option 1 is postcard style (no envelope):
RSVP option 2 would be a single sided card, with a SASE for return.
I haven’t yet drafted the directions, but it can be in the same format as the reception card…
Thanks for your thoughts, bees!

I think the separate reception card is a good idea, makes the invite a little more formal. I also think the RSVP postcard is fine. However, I would make the RSVP info smaller and to the left on the back, put your address on the right of the back (where the address typically goes), and then use the front for a cute design.

Postcards will save you money on stamps and envelopes but make sure they are to the postal specs or they will not send them. There should be white space on the bottom of the address side for the post office to print on barcodes.

@Sparkmymind: Thank you – you saved me a trip to the Post Office! I was going to bring my layout to them, but will now opt for a single sided with a return envelope…
