I definitely think two years out is too soon to book a venue.

I don’t know where your located but I would check and see how booked up the wedding venue is. I also am most likely not having mine until 2 years due to a busy schedule. The venue I want is already booked up for this year and next. I am going to keep an eye out, and most likely book it in 6 months. I think that booking 2 years is too soon unless your in an busy area or a popular venue.

We booked ours 2 years out.  We have a lack of nice venues in my area so the good ones got booked early. Depending on your area, you might wanna take some more time to enjoy looking for a venue.  As far as panicking….hahaha, oh geez, talking to the Queen of Panicking here.  I’m about 5 months out from my wedding and I still have super weird moments of panic where I don’t think I want to get married lol.  It’s definitely nerves and its totally normal.  if you weren’t nervous, that would be weird….it’s a big step not to be taken lightly

We booked our venue 2 yrs in advance and now our wedding is a week and a half away. I can tell you that I must have changed my mind about 20 times on various aspects (luckily not the venue) – but to be prepared that a lot can happen in 2 years. If you’re not comfortable you should wait, deposits can be some serious cash lost if you change your mind later.
