OK here is my 2nd dress – this is not being worn for the ceremony or reception but to go gambling and to dinner
With that in mind would you go with dramatic accessories and if so what or keep it simple because the dress is so over the top.
Here is the dress on the model and then on me and a necklace I think might work . . .
to me the neck looks bare in contrast to the dress and I thought it might be more couture looking to balance it out with a statement necklace maybe something like this . . .
my hair will be in a low updo if that helps

Try it on with the dress to see how it looks. The neckline of the dress is simple so a dramatic necklace would work.

Go for the DRAMA! I think it will be glamorous. Come on, at our age we earned it, LOL.

@tksjewelry: and it hides wrinkly necks 😉

Drama! That necklace would look awesome with the dress!

@unixfairy: (you don’t have one) but BONUS! Besides it goes with the whole feel of the city, over the top, extravagant, and glamorous. As Mike would say “just do it”.

Def an updo, no necklace and bold drop earrings. Nothing with too much fussy detail bc your dress has a lot going on.

Less is better. It’ll let you shine through.

@GreatGatsby: I agree with this. Less is more, too much drama in the accessories waters down the excitement of the dress. I like the idea of no necklace and some gorgeous earrings. If you really want a necklace, I would go much smaller and delicate.

I think pearls are great, but that might be too much pearly goodness. I think you can go bling-y with a bracelet though.

Normally I’m a “less is more” type, but I think for gambling and dinner, you’ve got to go big. You’ve got the dramatic dress, now follow through with the necklace! I think it’ll look great.

You’re getting married in Vegas. Glam it up! In My Humble Opinion, the pearls are too subtle. I go with something ridiculously sparkly, like serious statement earrings, a chunky sparkly bracelet, and a ginormous cocktail RHR

I really love that necklace but I would go with some snazzy pearl drop earrings instead. Now I want to run off to Vegas and get married!

I say go for it. I’ve got a dramatic dress and am looking for a very similar statement necklace. The neckline and top of the dress is fairly subtle (as is mine), and I think the statement necklace will balance it out.
