I’m not sure where to buy material like that (besides the obvious craft stores or even Wal Mart).  But I’m thinking it would look awesome if you ran some strings of white Christmas lights up the roof and draped the voile underneath that – I’m assuming voile is transparent enough to let the lights shine through?  You should probably check with the tent owner about whether you’re allowed to use duct tape or other adhesives on the tent poles.  If all else fails, you could probably get some really big rubber bands to wrap around the poles and stick the fabric through.  This sounds like a big project, so good luck!

The tent company probably uses material that has strong velcro to go around the poles so it might be best to go with them.  If you decide to DIY, remember to plan for fullness in the fabric, you would actually need wider fabric (like maybe twice as much).

Im trying to do something similar. I was going to use tulle and string lights. Did you have any luck on finding the lights and fabric? I heard zip ties help secure materials to the tent as well—that was the tent companys suggestion at least! I have a 80 x 20 frame tent.
