Niiiiiiiice! I've never heard of a two-piece dress - what a smashing idea! Now you can have a serious ceremony dress AND a let's-get-down-and-paaaaaarty reception dress all in one. Genius, I say. Genius.

@ leafy: Yup, I'll be getting the full short dress along with the long skirt. At first I thought I just wanted a tea-length dress but after trying on the long skirt (with pockets!!) I fell in love!
I promise to get some pics of me in it at my first fitting :)

Hello Hive!
My dress search has been a little bumpy. It started when I thought I found the perfect dress online. It was a gorgeous blush pink 1950's tea length dress. I quickly fell in love with it and ordered it. When it arrived the waist seemed much smaller than I expected and there was no way the sizing was going to work.
Last week I finally accepted that I had to start dress hunting again so I went with my MOH and one of my bridesmaid's to get started. I tried on about 20 dresses but I knew the first dress I tried was the one! It's an amazing pink two piece Martina Liana dress! The associate said they just received it in the store the day before my appointent. Total fate!
Here it is! I couldn't get a picture of me in it because the boutique wouldn't allow it! I'll get a photo with my first fitting :)
I just had to share because I'm so happy that I have a dress now that fits!
