I need ALL the help I can get!!! I’m a single Mom, getting married to the man of my dreams, how just so happens to be a MARINE. He has never been married and doesn’t have kids, but loves and adores my child, as if he was his own. i want sooooooooo much to make evrything absolutely perfect for him, but I’m afriad that what I like won’t be in conhesive with military protocals…. I dream of wearing a Tea length gown for my second wedding, but I’m afraid this my not be appropriate for a traditional Corp wedding.
Can ANYONE tell me if my dream dress is a possibility or should I “bite the bullet” and start looking for another gown???
I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME…….

In my opinion, whether tea length is appropriate or not has much more to do with where you have the wedding, at what time of day, and with what kind of formality, decor, and preferred dresscode than it does with the Corps situation. I think it feels very 50s/60s to have a man in uniform, dress or otherwise, and the woman in a gorgeous tea length dress. Some tea length gowns are quite formal. If you are having a formal, evening wedding at the officers’ club then that is the conflict in my mind.
I absolutely love this gown and almost ordered it but decided it didn’t fit my overall theme but was CRAZY adorable and fun.

@mrsSonthebeach: Thanks Mrs. Son….
It’s gonna be a church wedding and he is gonna be in his dress blues, but I feel 8the same as you. I loved the whole idea of a 50’s/60’s style wedding and I think he’s really into the idea too. Thanks for your help, you really put my mind at ease!
