I am going the Secrets Silversands in Mexico for our honeymoon and have read great reviews. Dreams is the resort for families correct? I have been to JA and DR before but not Secrets.
I am so glad you posted this thread! I have been trying to do research on a few different resorts myself, so I will def keep a close eye on what everyone has to say! Do any of you girls know anything about Breezes or Couples either? There are so many to chose from, and when it comes to shelling out all that money...I want to make sure we pick a great place!
Oh, and yes...that is definitely right in the middle of hurricane season....sorry!!
I have dont some researching and found that the secrets resorts seem to be amazing. The one I am looking at is Secrets Moroma but they all seem great. I guess since I am getting married in Oct I risk hurricane season going somewhere tropically:(
We just went to Secrets Capri (Riviera Maya, Mexico) and it was AMAZING!!! The resort looks like a huge Spanish mansion - not like a bunch of beach condos, and the service was impeccable! There were also many food options which were all delicious - my favorite was the Italian food!
I would strongly recommend this resort! plus - since it's adults only you don't have to worry about a bunch of kids running aroud on your honeymoon. I recommend checking out Orbitz - we got a great deal ;)

I have went to one Dreams resort in Mexico and loved it so much we were thinking about possibly going back to one of the Dreams again. We were looking the most at the Dreams Cabo and wondered if anyone had any experiences with that resort. Also is it hurrican season there in the middle of OCt?
As for the Secrets resorts has anyone had any experiences with these? FYI if you go to there website they are opening 3 new Secrets 2 in Jamaica and 1 in punta Cana and they look amazing!
