oh nooooooo!!!!!  i loved the originality behind that dress.  Maybe you can wear it just for the ceremony? And get a lighter dress like above for after?  Shame to see that thing collect dust.

I love both. I especially adore your first because it is a combination of several dresses, there isn’t another one like it. If I were you, I would wear your dress for the ceremony and go on the hunt for an affordable reception dress. That was you have the best of both worlds.

Nooooo! Wear your dress! And then I agree with PP’s…. if you want something to change into at the reception go for that!

Simple – Try to sell the original, and if it sells – buy the one you love. Otherwise, buy it for reception…  I love the neckline of the second one – as I am a fan of the chiffon over the chest dresses, in fact I have one on lay-a-way with Davids Bridal, HOWEVER… I had dress regret…. Yep- I was you… luckily – I didnt buy the first dress that I loved and loved on me (and about a million other brides in America), but I DID buy the one that I felt “comfortable” in… I hadnt paid the dress off, and found one that I hadnt tried on while looking through a book with a friend for her wedding (of course I would have never been looking for myself… Tongue out)  .. .. so I HAD to try it on while making a payment…  and low and behold… I’m IN LOVE!!!

My solution:  I’m paying off dress A at the end of the month, only to put the one I love on layaway with the exchange from the original…

The first one I tried on:

The one I purchased:

And the one I am putting on layaway at the end of the month:

I would honestly follow my heart if I were you – you wont be satisfied unless you do.

@Corilee13: I literally laughed out loud when I read that.  That’s a whole new spin on wedding night protection!

@Corilee13:  So …  you just changed my mind…  since you have a “thing” for superheroes, I think you should keep the first dress, and turn into your alter-ego and wear the second one for the reception….

Is this your wedding band? LOL
