Ladies, the dress arrived today! I had it sent to my workplace so that I could try it on right away. A couple of my work friends took photos for me and squeeled in excitement with me! SOrry for the concrete jungle, it’s behind my work place.
Link to the photos of other gowns I own if you have been following!
Each did have something I liked, but I wasn’t loving any of them really. They would have worked though. I couldn’t try any of them on prior to buying so that was an issue, and how I ended with so with many dresses (well one I could try on). One of them was already sold (the short one).
I LOVE THIS GOWN! Light, airy, SOFT!, no train, has special details that trump the two simple gowns I had, and has MOBILITY! I can hike in this dress! The detail you cannot see are intricate roses/beading, very pretty up close.
BEST PART – SHE WAS ONLY $25! $62 TOTAL WITH SHIPPING!!! Brand new with tags and preserved in a box. The woman was moving and just wanted it out of her house. I have thanked her profusely!
I’ll need it taken in a bit on the sides and figure a nice bra or add cups. Steam the tulle and voila!
Need to hit the seamstress as soon as I pick out my shoes. Getting married in 24 days!

You are so funny, talking about gown 5! LOL. I think I’ve seen your posts before, and so I am very glad number 5 is the one. And very glad that it was so affordable.
It’s gorgeous. I like the cut on the top, but I don’t know what it’s called. I tried one on like that the other day, and I really liked it.
The number 5 is so fairy princess like. I LOVE IT!!!!! I love how the lace is on the top layer of the skirt like that. It’s the same kind of thing I’m going for with my dress, which I plan to post soon.

Gosh, I wish I was like you and could buy a bunch of dresses. I think I’m a dress addict, and even though I found mine, I want to keep looking and buy, too!

I’d call that a scalloped neckline? I could have it turned into a sweetheart and the scalloped lace removed.

don’t remove the scalloped neckline its the best part!

I think a neckline like this will be awesome!
My Casablanca with a train? I just can’t bring my self to get that altered and chope off the trail. It’s got too much resale value. Plus the two seamstresses I did talk to about the train were very reluctant to chop it off! I really dislike it bustled because I generally do not like bustles.
