Hi Bees! I’d like a little advice picking my dress! I’ve found 2 totally different styles that I love, and would like some objective opinions!! I’ve had such a hard time comparing them because they’re so different, but I love them both!! Sorry for the bad cell phone pic for the first dress…
We’re having a small wedding in a victorian style mansion. Dress #1 is lace, with no train and has the belt attached. Dress #2 is satin with a longer train, and I would add some thin straps to wear during the reception.

Love the 2nd one on you! I am usually not a fan of silk/satin fabric, but you look just amazing in it and I think it will match your venue nicely!

@slombard87: I love the second one on you, I think it’s extremely flattering. However, dress #1 just screams “intimate wedding at a Victorian mansion” to me. I can see why you’re having a hard time! However, the nice thing is that I don’t think you can go wrong with either, you look great!

I love the concept of the first one given your venue, but it just does not do your body justice the way the second one does.

I like dress 2 but without the spaghetti straps.

#2, the first looks a little matronly.

@slombard87: #2 is fabulous.
Let me tell you that when I scrolled through that first photo I thought: the girl has a great figure, that dress isn’t doing it for her.
Umm, that dress #2 IS doing it for you! Not many can wear that and look so perfect. I wonder if a lace bolero for the ceremony would work with it and make it more “Victorian.”

They are both pretty, but the second one is just georgeous on you. That’s my vote.

I voted number 1. It fits your venue and, while both dresses are beautiful on you, I think it just looks so classy and timeless.

I like 2 but I am not a fan of the straps at all… It looks so dated. You have such a great figure though!

Thanks everyone!! The reason it’s a hard decision for me is because I totally saw myself in a dress like #1 for my wedding, lace with a higher neckline. But when I tried on dress #2, it was totally just a WHOA moment and I loved it! But it’s hard when you’ve had a dress style in mind for so long, and go try that style on and have it not be what you imagined…. But I’m totally sold on dress #2! It’s Sincerity #3666, I love it!!!
@FauxPas2012: I love the idea of adding a lace bolero for the ceremony! I’ll definitely look into that!!

Dress #2 is my favorite on you! Really fits you well! 🙂
