The picture of Dabra is not very good - I can't tell what it really looks like, so I looked at the stock photo of Dabra, and I found similar dresses to it...
This one is $460.. it's not quite as full I think, but it has the applique on the tulle.
This one is $525 - bit more of a mermaid shape.
This is $483, but it's got a rouched bodice.
This is $168, and it's the closest I could find.
Hope this helps!
@cubicalmouse
Thanks! Do you have any experience with replica dresses? I've seen a few of the websites (even replicas of Dabra) and I've read a lot of the threads. I'm not sure if it's one of those "if it's too good to be true, it probably is" things. Seems a little hit or miss?
@booka345: My cousin ordered one that just came in from Dressily, and she loved it. The beading was a little different, but that wasn't a dealbreaker.
@booka345: Her wedding was Sunday - This is the only picture I have.

I agree you should not panic and take a week to let things sink in about the dress you tried on that's in your budget. It is beutiful and you really can't go wrong with it, but I don't want you to have dress regret...so I think you should take a breather and get back out there. Put this dress on your top contender list.
My dress is similar to the one you want..not nearly as much tulle or detail...and more of a mermaid style than a drop waist..but take a look at mine and you will see ther are others out there that might fit into what you dream of and can afford. Mine was not under 500.00 but It I tried on similar styles in drop waist ball gown that were within that range. I ended up going mermaid cuz I wanted that sexy look. Anwayzz..just take it easy, you will find something you love. Dont' get hung up on a dress you've never even laid eyes on or tried on.
have you checked preowned sites like preownedweddingdresses.com, oncewed.com, recycledbride.com, etc? or craigslist? you might be able to find your dream dress used or as a sample on one of those sites if you have a fair deal of time before your wedding?
you wedding date says June 4, 2015, if this is correct i would definately keep look like other bees have said but them on your top contender list and keep shopping, something amazing is bound to come up at the right price in the next 3 1/2 years
oh and the 1st dress is beautiful
I thought the first one is seriously beautiful, and then I saw your Dabra pic - woah! I love the Dabra! And although the first dress is beautiful, it's a completely different dress, and if you truly love the Dabra, then I think you should keep looking for something more similar to it. You can do a search on the replica dresses on here, and find out which ones people had good experiences with. I second the preownedweddingdresses.com suggestion. I purchased my Vera Wang from that website, the original price was $6K, and I got it for $1400. Good luck!
Thanks for all the advice! I'm going to go try on the first dress again with my mom and sister today.
Maybe I'll call around and see if someon has Dabra for me to try on, maybe I only love it on other people. If it is "the dress" then perhaps I'll consider a replica. I've been looking at a few of the used gown website, but i can't quite find it in my size.
@stokieGal:whoops, my actual wedding date is April 28, 2012. I forgot to change that.
@julz114: I'm a size 12
I have a seriously wide range of likes in dresses. I'm finding I like everything! (mermaid, ball gown, sheath, trumpet, fit and flare, I love 'em all!) :)
but, I never got the "this is the dress <tears>" feeling
regarding the size issue, you can alter a gown several sizes smaller without compromising the integrity of the dress... it's usually worth it to buy a used/sample gown off one of those websites and alter it--it almost always comes out cheaper than the new one, if you got a good enough deal on the site in the first place... :)
it's all over now! :) I picked dress number one!!! I love how sparkly it is, and it was in my budget! I am now DONE dress shopping which is the relief I was looking for, and I'm SUPER happy with my choice :) :) :)
I love the train of the first one and the neckline of the second one.
I say keep looking
Just so you know, the beads on the Dabra dress are pretty huge (that is, they aren't flat beads but bicones etc.) and they sit at your waist so at least for me, my waist wasn't as dramatic as I'd like. That's why I decided not to buy it (my last 3 dresses were the Pronovias Flauta, Enzoani Dabra & Enzoani Dominica)
I sent you a message... I found a dress that looks ALOT like the one you want and its under your budget!
The first dress is STUNNING from the back! The only thing that'd hold me back is that the beading would be uncomfortable for my arms to rest against, and for my SO's hands... he likes softer fabrics. But it is absolutely beautiful... (and definitely nicer than the second.)
really, really happy you bought the first one. It's stunning and you look stunning in it. I have a enzoani blue dress and yes, they're expensive, but your dress looks like it should have cost a fortune too....I can't believe you got something that beautiful in your budget!
Well done you!
oh my god that first dress is stunning... STUNNING on you. please get it! you rock it and the details and beading and the dip on the back and the train are gorgeous. And I even tried on that Casablanca you posted/I have a Casablanca... but I'm telling you to get the other one! Good luck!!
ETA: reading comments after I posted, so glad you went with it! honestly I love that dress so much I might be a little jealous :)
The second dress is far more stunning (especially the way you are standing in the dress for the photo).
The first one, while the dress is pretty, it just doesn't scream "look at how amazing I am!". To me, it says, "eh, I'm a sparkly bride." :)
But, from my own dress remorse, I can certainly understand wanting to make the right decision. My best advice is don't buy the first thing you see. I purchased my dress about 1 year before the wedding and now, with about 6months to go, I have already found a couple others that I like better (I ever went so far as to try one of them on and now, i am really scrambling).
You'll make the right choice. :)

Okay, So I need some help. First of all, the dress I LOVE is Dabra by Blue by Enzoani and my price range is ~$500...so that's not happening. (at the very bottom Miss Navy in Dabra) You should know that I've never seen this dress in person.
Before trying on any dresses, I wanted a pretty sparkly belt, a dropped waist gown, white, and a cathedral length veil. After trying on dresses I've basically narrowed it down to these two(or keep looking??? I don't know, I'm freaking out a bit).
The first one is Allure 8488, it's a sample sale so the dess is marked down to $500, which I like very much.
The second dress is Casablanca 1827, I'd have to order it and it's regular price so it'd be about $750. I added the belt, it was just a piece of applique lying around the store.
Which dress is best? Should I keep looking for a more dabra-esque dress? I don't think that even exists in my price range. BAH! HELP! :/
here's dabra
