Hi Triangle Bees!

I live in Carrboro now, but I'm getting married in VA. I was originally going to get my wedding dress altered in VA at the salon where I bought it, but when I went for my fitting, the salon was closed! And they didn't even take the time to contact me to tell me they wouldn't be open that day, despite the fact that I had an appointment.

Anyway, now I'm just under 2 months away from my wedding, and I'm in desperate need of a seamstress to alter my dress. I've heard rave reviews about Olga in Cary. I know she books up fast, but I'm going to give her a call anyway to see if she can fit me in. Do any of you have other seamstress recommendations in the Triangle area in case Olga can't help me?

@notevenclose: I was able to get an appointment with Olga. You should definitely call her and see if she can fit you in. Olga is a seamstress who works out of her house in Cary, and she's supposed to be really affordable and a magic worker. I believe there are some threads about her on Weddingbee, and there are some on the Knot. You can also look up Olga's alterations on Google and find reviews for her. Here's her # 919-462-9472. I haven't had my appointment yet, but I can let you know how it goes.

Hey!  Olga is incredible.  I called her 6 months in advance and booked her.  She's a genius.  I was having some really bad luck in Raleigh finding a seamstress with good reviews, but I'm not sure about the surrounding areas.
