I think if you are a plus sized bride you should get plus sized insperaitinoal picks- there are some amaazing ones. it will help you have a more realistic idea. i’m a super short bride so i knew even though the dress looks great on the moddle it wont look that way on me and what I thought I wanted was not flattering. So I would say get some plus size insperation pictures and look into maybe even oriental ones too for more of an idea?

also what about trying on in the store to see what you do like! I did this cause I thought I wanted lace sleeves but I only want one.

    thats my ho.

hope i don’t come across as offensive.

I also prefer the sheer long sleeves and think they would be amazingly beautiful.

I don’t think you’re going to acheive the asian fusion look with lace sleeves althought they are beautiful! I think the picture on the right of the long sleeves category would look best.

@alishaloo:  I like the long sleeves on the left best beacuse its full and flowy- I gues like a kimono but it also is unique. its sheer. easy to move in comfortable and I think it will look great with a big full bow in the back.

Oh yeah, definitely option #2 or #4, first of all it goes with the Asian themed (my sisters dress was quite similar to option #2, and also would flatter a plus sized woman. I prefer option #2 because I think you would feel stuff in option #4, but both are equally gorgeous, and also, as the girl posted pics of previously, option #2 looks like to flatter a plus sized woman (:

In general, I prefer the lace sleeves. I agree that they aren’t “asian fusion” though, so I guess the long sleeves that are sheer.

May I just say that if your dress fits properly, not all plus-sized brides wear sleeves or need to wear sleeves. Sometimes, the sleeves actually accentuate the “problem areas.” I say this AS a plus-sized bride. I tried on a few dresses with sleeves or straps and, for me personally, I both felt and looked like a line-backer. My strapless dress gave me much more of the shape and cut I wanted and then I wore a veil to give myself the “added security” of someting disguising my arms….so before you make a decision or add sleeves to an otherwise sleeveless dress, see it on YOURSELF first. Just my advice.

Satin can be very unforgiving as a fabric and can be quite stuffy
