It will be southern CT..Trumbull/Bridgeport/Fairfield area..but we could travel a little...any thoughts?

I bought my dress in Fairfield, but I know they don't take in outside dresses... perhaps you could try Harold's in New Haven, I believe they are a pretty big place. Also, there is a place called "Sukrans" in Westport.... the place is a bit crazy looking, but they design dresses there and I've heard they have a great tailor.
Perretta's Tailors Wallingford she is the sweetest lady ever!! 203-265-7629 Also Mariella's Attic in Rocky Hill if I am not mistaken they do dress alterations. Hope this helps
Does anybody know a reputable tailor in the New Haven area? I need my wedding dress altered within 6 weeks! Also, any suggestions on good places to get a veil, headpiece, and gloves? Thanks!
I brought my dress at Davids and they too have high prices. So i checked out Joan's bridal shop on Main street Bridgeport, they quoted me at half the price of davids. I know she does a fantastic job because i have seen her work first hand.
I just got my wedding dress altered at Joan's Bridal in Bridgeport and I am SOOOOO happy! She did an AWESOME job for a VERY affordable price. She did high quality work and had my dress done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place for every bride!
I hear Valentino Tailors in Hamden is excellent. I'll be taking my wedding dress there.
I bought my dress at Kleinfeld's and found a tailor through The White Dress by the Shore in Clinton. They were incredibly helpful and courteous, especially for people who weren't getting my money! And they have several people they recommend.
@Perk where was the tailor that the White Dress referred you to? I went to TWD to dress shop and loved them so so much, but ended up getting my dress at Klienfeld's also... but I don't want to get it tailored at Kleinfelds either! So I'm also looking for a tailor in the Fairfield area, but would definitely be willing to go to New Haven or even Clinton area for somewhere worthwhile!

Hi All-
Does anyone know a great bridal shop/tailor in Connecticut to take my dress for alterations? I bought it at Kleinfeld but they charge an outrageous price for alterations so looking for other possibilities since the dress is being shipped to CT. Any thoughts on this? Thanks so much!
