- Wedding: June 2014
I had my second fitting today which I was super excited about. I decided to do alterations earlier than usually since I’m changing a few things to the dress, not just taking it in/hemming sort of deal. I found my dress at a sample sale originally $2000+ and I got it for $299, so I purchased it without being engaged *gasp*. We’re waiting on my ring for the official proposal, but we’re getting married in Paris in June 😛 So I figured I’d better jump on the deal.
Here’s the before, with the dress clipped heavily in the back:
Here’s the back, I wasn’t a fan of the straight across back.
And no, I didn’t get my Photography skills from my Mother.. hahaha
Now here’s the progress so far:
Sweetheart neck! That’s as low as we can go, with the structure of the dress but I’m very happy with it. Ignore the bottom in this photo.. it looks like the train has dissappeared but it’s hiding, haha.
And here’s the back (the white part that hooks inside the dress is sticking out, but she’s making it so it doesn’t stick out at all. She’s also added buttons that you can see, which will go all the way down the zipper.
Don’t mind my terrible photos haha.
Now here’s the real question, should I add a belt? If so, what kind?
