I would try it on with a long line strapless bra - having a little more support for your girls will probably help fix some of the bunching. Or maybe try a spanx-type slip? If you're still not happy with it, it's fixable with alterations. But definitely look around for a good seamstress in your area rather than paying your bridals shop's crazy prices :)
I went to Janette's Tailoring & Alterations in Arlington, MA as she specializes in wedding gowns. She was great and very affordable. (And no consultation fee!) Her shop's address is 805 Mass Ave and her phone number is 781-646-8410.

Hello bees :)
I just bought the Jim Hjelm JH8801 for my summer wedding -- YAY! The bridal shop I bought it from charges an arm and a leg for alterations. Oh, and they charge a consultation fee too to tell me what needs to be done with the dress. Really!?
The dress fits remarkably well and does not seem to need a lot of alterations, I think. It does bunch up a bit between the sash under my bust and around my waist. Is this something that needs to be altered? Or will some appropriate undergarments suffice? I'm not wearing any in the picture, btw.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
