Ok, after my post yesterday of not being excited about my first fitting. I’m kicking my self now for not taking a picture of it! When I went back to look at my picture in the sample from before, it seemed like it had more folds and feathers and flowers on it, than the dress I fitted yesterday. I should’ve taken a picture so I could’ve done a comparison. 🙁 I’m freaking out a bit because I just realized that the bodice felt a little loose, and although the lady pinned the top of the bodice to fit me, there were no changes to the actual body. My next fitting will be in 3 weeks, and I am planning to leave the country about a week after that. There might not be enough time to fix it!
I also noticed that there was another sample of my dress on the store racks. My problem is the last time I went there and finally said yes to the dress, I was planning to put a skirt over it so I didn’t really look too much on the folds of the dress and the feathers and stuff. What if I ended up getting an older sample? I know it’s my fault but now I’m worried that after fighting for it with my mom, I’ll end up with a dress that we both don’t like. She’ll be right in saying it looks all torn and messy… 🙁
