Long time lurker here but this is my first post! I’ve been engaged for a few months and have recently gone dress shopping twice at different shops. Below are pics from my most recent trip. The dress on the left is one I’ve tried on before and absolutely love! The other is another dress that I tried on and liked. My family and friends like the dress on the left the most with the exception of a couple. I’m almost ready to put a deposit down but I’m nervous about buying too quickly. I need a non-biased opinion from the Bee’s first : ) So bees, which dress do you like better?
P.S. I’m getting married in Fall 2015 in a downtown venue with about 120 guests.

katiegirl2015: I think they’re both gorgeous but leaning towards the first one BUT I do think it needs altered to fit you a little better, you have a great figure and it’s not showing it off as much as it should! I think in a smaller size/with alterations it would look amazing!

Go with your gut. The dress on the left looks amazing on you!

This is a tough one, I think if you love the first one then go for it! I think it shows your figure off and looks great! Do you have a theme and colours already? The second one is a less formal in my eyes and more suited for a beach.

I say go with dress 1. It was already my favorite just looking at the pictures, and then I read your post and it seems like you prefer this one too, but the ”couple of friends” who didn’t love it as much made you second-guess yourself. Both dresses are gorgeous, but you ”love” the first one, and you ”like” the 2nd one. I believe you’ve got your answer right there. 🙂

Go with the first one!!!! It is so classy, timeless, elegant and sexy. You have a great figure and you definitely wear the dress well. The second dress overwhelms you and the dress is wearing you.

- Wedding: A very pretty church.
katiegirl2015: It’s hard to tell because only one of them fits you in the pictures. I assume that could be changed though. What time is the wedding being held? What kind of venue? Both are lovely and clearly you have a figure that would look good in many styles…I like the second dress more but that’s because I am not a trumpet fan. I would put you in something even more fitted 😉

Both beautiful but I voted for the first one!

katiegirl2015: I think the left dress definitely has a more formal feel to it, so it might be better for your venue. However, I have a personal peeve about seams down the front of the dress…IMO it cheapens the look. But thats just my opinion!!! If I had to choose between just these 2, I would say Left. However, I also think you have tons of time so it wouldn’t hurt to keep looking. BUT…remember to stick to your gut and get what you love. It’s your wedding, your dress and you are the one wearing it. This is all just my opinion… do what feels right to YOU. And enjoy!

katiegirl2015: Congrats girl!
I voted left, it looks more formal and once it’s altered to fit you properly will be amazing, it already looks great not fitted. It’s a classic dress. Good luck!

- Wedding: June 2015 - Dreams Las Mareas - Costa Rica
Both are beautiful but i voted for number 1… i like how it fits your shape 🙂

I voted for the dress on the left. I’ve ALWAYS loved that dress. It’s so beautiful & elegant. I love the belt that you have with it too! It’s looks great.

I voted for the dress on the left; however, I would suggest you sleep on it for a while. You have a whole year until your wedding and I’d be worried that you might see something bigger and better that you fall in love with closer to the actual wedding. If it were me, I’d re-evaluate in December whether I still loved the dress. That’s still more than enough time to order it and have proper alterations if you’re still in love with it.
