Do you care if your dress is a surprise for him? If not, then there’s really no reason not to let him come with you. Maybe you could show him dresses but not actually buy one that day so it’s still kind of a surprise.

My fiance told me that HE wanted to be surprised even though that wasn’t that important to me. If he hadn’t said that, I would have liked to have gone to look at dresses with him (without buying) to get some feedback from someone who knows me so well. My mom would have been able to give me good feedback too but my mom died a few years ago. I ended up showing some model photos to friends to get some opinions but ultimately chose the dress all by myself.

@danylara:  Honestly, it’s up to you. My Fiance wanted to be surprised and honestly…he hates shopping. It was best for me to go with my Maid/Matron of Honor.

I only spent one day visiting bridal salons, and I went with a girlfriend who is also getting married. I wouldn’t have been against taking Fiance because we are each other’s best stylists, but he wants it to be a surprise. I think if the surprise factor doesn’t matter to either of you, it wouldn’t be a big deal.
