Are you getting the alterations done where you bought the dress? If so, then I would just make sure that they schedule appointments for you now. If not, I would try and schedule three different appointmenst for whatever seamstress you’re using. I think 2 weeks is plenty of time, as long as the alterations person has the time to do it (which, if it’s the store’s fault that it’s here so late, they should make sure they have the time to do it). I’ve heard of alterations being done over a weekend, if the bride is in from out of town, so I definitely think 2 weeks is plenty of time! 🙂 Beautiful dress, btw! I love the floaty material of the skirt.

I know nothing about alterations or timing but I just wanted to say that I love that photo of you. There is something about the juxtaposition of a soft, feminine white gown with tattoo sleeves that makes me smile whenever I see a photo like that!

You look so lovely! What a great dress. I totally agree with danadelphia 🙂

I’ve been having the same freak-out (ordered my dress in January, wedding in July, not supposed to get in until June), and I’ve been assured by a gazillion people that it will really be OK and that alterations can get done pretty quickly. I bet you are fine!
