I went on a dress shopping frenzy the last 2 weeks of March knowing that I had to give plenty of time for the dress to come in for my Oct wedding. Went to 8 stores and gave myself a deadline of March 30th. I bought the dress at 4pm on March 30.
The bridal shop called on Friday that the dress is in. In 2 weeks?? It is Mary’s Bridal / PC Mary spring 2013 line in a plus size.
Is this very unusual for a dress to come in so soon? Should I be worried?

@katsmah: nah, don’t worry. My Sil also wore a Mary’s bridal gown and it came in early.

I would not be worried. They could have had it made already and the previous order got cancelled.

I wouldn’t worry, I was looking at a sophia tolli dress and asked about order time and my sales lady said that they just have warehouses all across the states and they just find your size/color and ship it. So that may be what happened with your dress. Still take a good look at the dress to be sure.

Thanks. The dress is 2 hours away from me, so I won’t be able to get there until the end of the month. If there are any issues with it, that should still give me time to have them order another one if needed. It just really shocked me that it would be ready so fast.

That’s awesome! I’d be so happy if it was in that quick – I keep having nightmares the bridal shop ordered the wrong dress (I won’t find out until mid-May)

Yay for you!!
I think it’s ok. I ordered from best bridal prices, and they told me they found one in my colour and my size at the allure warehouse (our something-I was so freaked out about placing the order, I was not paying close attention). Anyway, I think my dress won’t take nearly as long to come in either.
