So I am one of those brides that tried on at least 200 dresses, eventually I grew tired that nothing Wowed me I liked almost everything but loved nothing. Not trying to sound conceited but I looked good in everything and I dress up A LOT so I was looking for that TV OMG this is it feeling and never got it. I did like this dress A LOT though so I ordered it and it came in today. My wedding is at a Library in Boca Raton on an outdoor lakeside patio so I wanted something elegant but sexy and simple. I am normally a really sensual dresser and a little trendy. But I wanted my wedding dress to be timeless so the pictures would look good forever. Now I feel like my dress may be too simple because I wanted to stay away from trends. What do you think? The seamstress is adding more layers underneath to give it the model picture look. Keep in mind it was fresh out the box, wrinkled and the 3 layers that make the bottom bigger were not separated yet at all. I got there like 20 min, b4 closing.
I think you look stunning! The dress is really elegant and rocks your figure!
I have always loved that Casablanca dress! It is so elegant and it looks great on you! I think you may have a different reaction when you bling it up with your hair and makeup done and your accesories on. I don't have any advice, but I think it's gorgeous.
I think it's really stunning! You look exactly how you described - elegant, sexy and timeless!
Do you think your accessories will dress it up more?
You looks amazing in this dress!! Just as good as model. You have a killer body and the simplicity of the gown really accentuates that. It's simply stunning!
I think it's gorgeous, and will be even better once the slight modifications you spoke about happen.
I agree with the PP that hair and accessories are often what make a dress a total "wow".
Well I LOVE the dress and I love it even more on you. It's great as it is, but I'm sure the added layers will give it some more oomph. The bracelet and the necklace look very pretty with it too, are those your going to be jewelry on your wedding day? If not, you could always add flashier accessories to jazz it even more.
Girl, that dress looks fabulous on you!!! I think you made a great choice, it's very classic and elegant. And I don't think it's too simple at all. To me it has that wow factor, without going over the top with a lot of extra stuff going on. It really is gorgeous!
Whew!!!! Thanks you have no idea how much I needed that confirmation LOL. No, the jewelry I am wearing in the photos are my everyday jewelry from my FI
..I will certainly take your advice and jazz up the jewelry.
Now I can go to bed in peace YAY!
gorgeous! Will look amazing accesorized - definitely not too simple. Great choice! I understand though, I am starting to feel like I'm on the same track... tons of dresses I like and I'm just going to have to pick one!
Sooooo purdy! :D My god you look amazing in that dress! It fits you perfectly!- I also love the subtle yet elegant bling; it emphasises your tiny waist, and the sweetheart neckline really flatters you too. Keep that dress! :D
WOW!!! That dress is fabulous (i am also a casablanca bride) and you look AMAZING!
Looks like you made the right choice (in my opinion!!!)
@superplannerbee: Everyone is going to cry when they see you. You look so beautiful! Supply tissues!!!!
I think the dress looks STUNNING on you! To be honest, it fits perfectly and I like it better than on the model!
I think it's a keeper!!
Its absolutely gorgeous! And everyone is right...when you have the veil, makeup etc it will amazing. Plus, you will be wearing the dress...the dress won't be wearing you.
Awww you all are so sweet! It really means a lot, thanks for the feedback you know it's so hard making such a big choice, to add my 4 sisters and Mom live in Michigan and I went dress shopping here in Florida alone so I had no other source of confirmation besides pictures and emails.
BTW it's not Casablanca it's Essence of Australia (maybe they are associated brands but I don't think so)
breath taking, really! it's WOW, without being over the top, trying too hard to WOW, it makes YOU wow! i couldn't imagine another dress doing a better job makin you shine=) with hair/makeup, accessories, i think you'll fall in love with it all over again! and it is perfectly timeless, in fifty years it will still be a beautiful dress=)
The dress is beautiful and you look Great in it! I think you made a great choice.
@superplannerbee: I think it looks great on you! You will feel different once your hair is done and you have other accessories going on!
I can see that you would look great in everything you tried on, your beautiful and your figure is amazing! That dress looks stunning and is certainly not too simple.
That dress will look amazing for years to come. I agree with everyone else. Once your hair/makeup are done and you put on a great necklace, bracelet, earrings, and maybe a fun veil, you will have a dynamite look.
Thanks, I am confused on what type of necklace to wear though I have a pretty wide vintage inspired bracelet and some medium sized tear drop vintage insipired earrings. But I can't determin what type of necklace. I was thinking just a tear drop diamond pendant but everyone is saying jazz it up I'm not sure if the necklace would be to simple any suggestions?
Are you kidding me??? :) ...you look amazing! Very timeless, elegant, gorgeous!!!
Wow - I think it looks like it was made for you! Hugs in all the right places, gives you a stunning silhouette. I'm sorry you don't love it, but I sure do!
You have a model's body and you look stunning in this dress, it's gorgeous. If I were you I wouldn't doubt this dress...
Oh my! Simply stunning! You look like you could be in a magazine photo shoot!
Do you have pics of the bracelet and earrings? I think sticking with the same style they are would be great. I was thinking something that had some width across it would be great and still classic. I'm sure the style of your bracelet could be found in a necklace
This one would obvioulsy be crazy expensive, but something similar in style maybe or with pretty metal work.
Another idea for pearls, if that's what your jewelry has and there are tons more like this all lots of different price points.
Wow, you look great! I think for a necklace, you need something like what Mcnetn3 suggested. I think you need a bit more pizazz than a tear drop necklace for the look you want.
The more I think about it, the more I really like the idea of the multi strand pearl necklace with the vintage inspired brooch that coordinates with the detail on your dress.
DivineJewel on etsy:

First off, that dress looks FANTASTIC on you!!
Second, I really like the necklace that @mcnetn3: suggested with the multistrand pearls!
The dress is gorgeous on you. And it looks sooo much better on you than on the model! YOU should be the model! :)
As for the necklace, I think since the dress is so simple and timeless that you need a larger less simple necklace! I love both of the necklaces posted above (three strand pearl w/ brooch and the wider crystal necklace). I think you need more of a statement necklace versus a simple pendant. Just my opinion.
