Ask at a local boutique. When I bought my dress (at a consignment shop) the owner recommended the best low-cost cleaner. A lot of times there is a special (really high) wedding price, but this place apparently charges regular fancy dress prices. It may yellow in the closet if you don't have it professionally preserved.

So our wedding was just over a week ago, and now we're back home and slowly settling back into our normal lives once again. And now I'm wondering what to do with my dress.
I'm not going to sell it, so I need to figure out how to get it cleaned and preserved. We did a trash-the-dress shoot with our photographer a couple days after the wedding, and while my dress didn't get "trashed", it did get quite dirty along the bottom. Plus it's also all sweaty and stuff.
Can I take it to a regular dry cleaner, or are wedding dresses supposed to be taken to a special wedding dress only place? And after it's cleaned, can I just keep it hanging in the closet, or will it get damaged?
Also, any recommendations for good dress cleaning places in the MD/DC/Baltimore/Annapolis area are welcome and much appreciated =)
