Unless it's a huge deal to you, I wouldn't really put anything if that's your dress code - that's pretty much how people dress at most weddings I've been to, so I'm thinking that's how people would dress anyways.
Maybe just put that information on your website (if you have one) and include a card with the website in with the invitation?

How should I phrase the dress code for a Friday evening reception in August? I want people to know it's semi-formal or smart casual meaning sun dresses or casual dresses and polo shirts and khakis. I'm thinking, Summer Dressy or Patio Attire? Thoughts???
