I really like your dress. I don't think it's plain at all. I don't think a dress has to have beading and whatnot in order to be beautiful.
That's a gorgeous dress, and I don't think lace is plain. Lace is classy!
That said, have you tried on your dress with a crinoline underneath? It would fill out the skirt more if that's what you want. Also, you should try it on with some blingy jewelry. There are many ways to make it more sparkly if you want that.
GORGEOUS dress, the lace and detail is beautiful, its very classy but still eye catching b/c of the back, the belt, and the lace. if you still want more bling you could always add it to the belt. and great job on the price!! thats how i got my dress as well.
The dress above is very pretty but if you are in love with another gown, GO FOR IT!!!!!!
Good Luck
I am completely jealous that you found a dress like that for so cheap! It is STUNNING and do not be fooled by other dresses! Maybe you can have a veil with some light beading or a sash or brooch on your dress with a little bling to spice it up if you need it :)
Personally... I would be thrilled to have a dress that gorgeous!
Yeah I thought I wanted something very simple too but sometimes those shiny dresses get to you. That being said, your dress is gorgeous. It's all about what you want to look like so if you feel you want some more pizzazz go for it. I'm sure you can sell the first dress for $350 easily. That's a steal on a lace dress like that.
I don't think it's plain, but I too will admit to buying a good deal dress and then buying another. My first dress was $114 (with tax and alterations) but was WAY more plain than that. So I'd sit and think on it, maybe sleep on it, and get your friends and families opinions on the one you own and the ones you may want. But it's definitely not something to do lightly. It took me another 4 months (after I bought the budget dress) to find THE GOWN.

Aughhhhh... so I bought a dress on sample sale last week. 2nd dress I tried on. It was marked down from 1500 to 350 because it was from a few seasons ago and had been discontinued.

These pictures don't really do it justice, but it's a beautiful dress, but a little plain, which is what I thought I wanted)
But today I went shopping with my mom (she didn't go with me the first time and wanted to go) and I tried on all of these GORGEOUS casablanca and pronovias gowns with beading and absolutely amazing beading which I didn't think I wanted at ALL. Now I don't know what to do.... Advice? What do you think of the one I already have?
