Do you tend to trust the judgment of your friends? If my friends told me that a dress wasn't particularly flattering, I'd probably be tempted to believe them. Keep shopping!
if you love it that's all that matters... but what do you think about how it flatters you?
And, as far as your friends' comments - how much of that is because the dress doesn't actually fit you? If you have it altered, will it flatter you better? Or is it overall the shape?
Will the shop hold it for you?
And what about the other dresses you're trying on? Are they the same silhouette? or different? You should be finding that some silhouettes look better on you than others, and you shouldn't try on any that are different than that.
Good luck!
if you absolutely love it and will regret not getting it, then go for it. All that matters is that you love it.
The top one is my dress, so I am biased towards it!
I think the bottom one is very pretty--it does a lovely job of showcasing the lines of your waist and hips. I only wonder if a seamstress couldn't lower the neckline a bit. I think I prefer the look of the other two lower cut dresses over your bust. A little trimming and it could be perfect!
Have you considered an empire waist dress? They look really flattering on Asians. Rouching is also good. It really looks good on every figure.
I would consider trying some more dresses before you decide on one. Even though it may only be the last dress in the store, if you get the name of the dress maker and style number you may be able to find it at another store or even online! They just use it as a tactic to try to buy a dress right away. Trust me, they've tried that sales pitch on me before.
I like the third one and in the picture I actually think it does show off some curves. I would spend some time to weigh your decision.
I think they both look really great on you! Go with your gut feeling..
The first and third look amazing on you!!!! The first one is my fav and I agree that it looks expensive and classic!!
I really like the 1st and 3rd ones. Go with the one that you feel best in!
I actually like the 3rd one better, but think all three dresses look great on you...its really what you fall in love with! :)
I like the first one! I think with some alterations it would be even more flattering.
thanks girls!!! Now that I have time to look at all the pics again I am less infactuated with the 3rd one (which was probably what happened in the bridal boutique). I will keep shopping.

I LOVE the first one. Shows curves in the right places and love the lace!
The last one is my favorite on you. I'd say you definitely have curves in it! Definitely keep looking if it doesn't feel right though.
The 3rd one is beautiful and looks amazing on you. That one is my favorite out of the 3. Is that the one that they said is unflattering on you b/c I think they are definitely wrong!!!
I think the 3rd is absolutely stunning, and very flattering on you. They're all so stylistically different. I wonder if the advice you are given has more to do with someone preferring a different style of dress? I'd personally say I prefer the 3rd followed by the first. But its just my taste - all three are lovely on you.
i think you'll KNOW the dress.
i didn't think i was going to have that moment, and almost got a gorgeous dress that looked awesome and i felt great in it, but luckily i waited.
then, i went somewhere else, tried on another one, and BOOM. like a ton of bricks. personally, i like the first one out of all of them!
I love the first one, the back is dreamy :) I now have a crush on the back of that dress lol
Was the first dress the one that you originally liked better than your friends or the third one? Personally, I think you look great in all of them, but the 3rd is especially gorgeous on you! I love how flattering it is to your figure.
Good luck if you do decide to keep shopping. Just know that there is a dress out there for you that you will love. Even if you don't have the "OMG, this is it!" moment (which I never had), you'll find something that you love and that looks great on you! :) And let us know how the search goes!
I love the first one. The neckline and back are very flattering on you! It's my favorite!
I like the first one personally! Since the lace on the top is more transparent, it makes it lighter...draws more attention to your face, which of course is what should be shining! Certainly, the 3rd dress has similar qualities , but I think that the first one flatters your face a bit more in the end! Overall, its your dress though, and if you KNOW its the one for you, then it shouldn't matter what anyone else's opinion is...its your day!
do you think you love the dress a little more because it's on sale? i am guilty of this all the time, loving something bc of the deal, but when it comes time to actually wear it it's only ok. try to imagine all of the dresses were on sale, would you still pick it? i think they all look great on you btw, just food for thought! good luck :D
I think the third one looks amazing on you but it is all about which one makes you feel like a bride. The one that makes you feel soooo beautiful is the ONE!

This dress is on sale and it's the only one left! I love it because of all the details and embroidery. I have tried other expensive dresses but this one looks the most expensive, even though it's relatively cheap.
MOH and sis-in-law said it was not that flattering on body - that it does not show any curves. What do you think? (the last one)
The other ones are dresses that I have tried on and like, but not as in love with. Should I keep looking? What if someone grabs "my" dress before I decide? Sigh
