My wedding is May 18th, 2013 at a beautiful outdoor barn. I have 2 favorite dresses and am having a hard time choosing between and need some advice! I love allure 2455, but also love casablanca 2052. The casablanca would be altered to have a sweetheart neckline…

You’ll get more feedback if you add a poll and make those pictures larger.

The pics are pretty tiny, but from what I can see I prefer the 2nd one.

Have you tried them both on?

You definitely should try them both on, you’d be surprised how you might change your mind. I’ve read from a lot of bees here that when they try on their dream dress they are disappointed, and they end up going with something completely different.
I do think a more fitted dress, like the first picture you posted above, is more a propos for a barn wedding… I’m getting married outdoors and I chose a very slim dress (Allure 8800) because I think it’ll be easier to move around and it fits the outdoor feel. I was very nervous about getting a dress with a long train that could get dirty outside!

@MsVoyageur: I have tried both on! I’ve tried about 15 dresses on! My consultant told me not to worry about looking fat or short (I’m 5′ 6″ and 130), and it’s true! Wedding dresses make you look beautiful!!! I didn’t dislike anything I have tired on, so choosing is hard. As for getting dirty, I’m only wearing it once so i’m not concerned about that! the lace one has an open back which I like…however I feel like this is the day to “princess it up”! SO. I’m pretty torn.
Also, I’m pretty computer challenged so here’s some bigger pics as requested!

Dress #2 is gorgeous! You should add a poll!

I am in the same boat as you. Do I go big ball gown and princess for my one special day or do I go clasisc simple lace or sexy trumpet. I have tried a couple in each style and there are pros/cons for both.
Of your two dresses I would pick the 1st. I love the elegance and simple sexy of the lace and open back. I am not fond of the bodice on the 2nd. Sorry

I like dress number 1, with the keyhole back. While I agree its the one day to go all out, it’s not like I can wear white trumpet dresses everyday either! Haha. But I pretty much choose lace every time- I think it looks romantic, classic and soft.

I love them both, But I think for a barn wedding you should do #1, the lace has that country/barn feel to it.

I think dress number 1 works better for a barn wedding.
Are you sure you could add a sweetheart neckline to dress number 2 with that beading??

I like the second. Add a poll!!
