I believe I’ve tried on about 30 dresses and cannot seem to decide!! I love having a tight fit and flare/trumpet dress but am stuck on the fact that the dress I LOVE was the very first one I ever put on! I am not sure why I am struggling…I think my main decision now has come down to lace around the edges or not. I am 5’0″ and very petite up top and all bottom down below! Any dress would have to be hemmed a lot. Let me know what you think!
#1 Maggie Sottero: Kadee (first dress I tried on)
#2: Maggie Sottero: Camden

I think the first dress is beautiful and slightly dramatic. I voted for dress 1 🙂

I like the first one more because it gives you gorgeous curves! Dress #2 is nice as well but it just doesn’t seem to fit you as well as dress #1

I almost got Kadee… It’s so pretty… I almost wish I’d gotten it but I love mine too. I think it’s definitely the winner

I vote for dress #1. I am only 5’4 also so any dress that is all one pattern (like your second option which is all lace beading) makes us look shorter than we really are 🙂

Camden is pretty on you, Kadee is stunning! It just flows so nicely on you- gorgeous!

The first one for sure! It looks INCREDIBLE on you!

Dress 1, definitely. The second one isn’t doing anything for me.

@dubblebubble656: I love the Kadee on you (and it sounds like you love it as well). It doesn’t matter if it’s the first dress you tried on! If you love it and feel beautiful in it, that’s a sign that it’s the perfect gown for you.
As for the less emotional aspect, I prefer the overall look of the Kadee to the Camden. The Kadee also looks perfect on your figure. The Camden doesn’t look bad by any means, but it doesn’t flatter your body the way the Kadee does.

Dress 1! Perfect and so gorgeous! 🙂

@dubblebubble656: I’m going against the grain and saying the Camden, it’s beautiful. I find the first one doesn’t show off your figure, it gives you a straight up and down look.

I love the second one – you will appreciate the lovely laced train when you look back at your photos. I was in a similar place as you, thinking if I wanted the puffy tulle look or the refined lace look. I would walk around the dressing room with the tulle one and I noticed that the tulle train would just bunch around and look messy, whereas the lace train stays elegant and refined, with a nice clean edge.
In order to make the second dress pop a bit more, consider putting a puffier slip underneath it to give it a bit more body.

I like the Camden better, but they’re both pretty.
